Microsoft 365 identity and endpoint implementation follows the Basic, Standard or Premium plan agreed for the canonical security implementation service. Outsourced operations require their own accepted service schedule and staffing. Microsoft Defender for Cloud work is separately scoped for the agreed Azure subscriptions.
Scope and boundaries
Confirm products, supported workloads, quantities, licenses and acceptance criteria before work begins. 24x7 coverage, response targets and staffing apply only where an accepted managed-service schedule provides them.
Microsoft 365 security implementation and recurring managed operations use separate scopes. Confirm any Microsoft Defender for Cloud software subscription and actual licensed capabilities separately from service delivery. Professional-service purchases do not count toward MACC.
