Scope and boundaries
Two weeks of read-only assessment for an agreed operating Azure estate, using customer-approved billing and usage evidence. Scope covers up to five subscriptions under one billing account and one Microsoft Entra tenant, subject to access and workload readiness.
Pre-migration platform selection and datacenter-exit business cases belong to the infrastructure TCO assessment. Remediation and ongoing FinOps are separate; an accepted baseline is reused. This assessment makes no production changes. Request a customer-specific Microsoft Marketplace private offer after confirming scope and terms. Microsoft licenses and consumption are separate.
- The assessment does not resize, stop, delete, move, or reconfigure production resources.
- No reservation or savings-plan purchase, exchange, licensing change, policy activation, or chargeback activation is included.
- Savings values are estimates based on available evidence and documented assumptions, not guaranteed outcomes.
- Follow-on optimization work requires a separate approved scope.

The assessment does not make production changes. A named customer owner reviews the findings, priorities, dependencies, and proposed next step before any follow-on work is scoped or performed.

Week 1: Establish the cost baseline
Confirm business goals, billing boundaries, access, ownership, anomalies, and initial waste candidates.

Validate recommendations with technical and finance owners, then deliver the savings register, executive brief, FinOps cadence and 90-day roadmap.
