What this implementation gives you

  • A customer-owned Microsoft Foundry platform foundation for one agreed agent workload.
  • One working agent workload, with up to three coordinated agents when the approved use case requires them.
  • Evaluation evidence, release criteria, rollback procedure, and a named production approval path.
  • An operations runbook, ownership matrix, cost baseline, backlog, and knowledge-transfer record.

Scope and boundaries

Six weeks for one workload with up to three coordinated agents and three data or tool connections, including the agreed model, tool and knowledge integrations, evaluation and production release.

An accepted Foundry IQ knowledge base and readiness assessment are reused. The quote identifies only remaining grounding and production-integration work; ongoing managed operations are separate.

  • Custom model training, broad data-platform modernization, unsupported connectors, and unlimited application development are excluded.
  • Azure Government deployment, cross-tenant production access, and 24x7 managed operations require separate scope.
  • Microsoft service consumption, licenses, and regional capacity are customer responsibilities unless the statement of work says otherwise.
  • Additional workloads, applications, connections, and ongoing management require a separate approved engagement.

Your approval before production changes

A named customer owner approves each production change or cutover against the agreed scope, test evidence, rollback path, operating owner, and expected cost before it proceeds.

How the engagement runs

  1. Week 1: Confirm the release boundary

Confirm the use case, success measures, data boundaries, access, environments, and approval roles.

  2. Week 2: Establish the platform foundation

Implement the approved identity, networking, secrets, safety, and monitoring foundation in the customer-owned Azure environment.

  3. Weeks 3 to 5: Build and evaluate

Build the scoped workflow and approved connections, then test quality, safety, security, performance, and failure behavior.

  4. Week 6: Release and hand off

Complete release readiness, operations handoff, training, and the approved production cutover or customer-controlled release decision.

Evidence to decision flow

Context approved

The customer confirms scope, access, acceptance criteria, change windows, and named approvers before build activity begins.

Controlled delivery

Simplicity IT builds and tests only the accepted work packages in the customer-owned environment, with evidence recorded at each checkpoint.

Your decision

A named customer owner reviews the exact change, test result, rollback path, operating owner, and cost impact before any production effect or cutover.

Evidence retained

The as-built record, acceptance evidence, rollback status, decision log, and operational handoff are retained according to the customer agreement.

Microsoft technologies in scope
